Other big guns to have fallen are leading contenders for the GFF league title, Real de Banjul and title holders Steve Biko both of whom were dumped out, and now have only the league to concentrate on.
Real were beaten I–0 by Interior FC of the second division while Steve Biko lost on similar score line to Brikama United.
In the other fixtures, Young Africans of the second division eliminated fellow division two outfit Bombada of Brilkama 1-0. Banjul United were the biggest winners of the week beating Blue Stars 3-0 to march to the last eight. Hawks FC however had to go through a tight fight surviving on penalties against Seaview. Ports Authority too moved to the last eight in penalties over Samger. Lamin United also booked their place to the last eight after eliminating Serekunda East.
