The first module dealt with community Cricket attracting 20 participants, with focus on the means of organising a tournament and understanding the need for organisation. The second module, on the other hand, covered effective meetings, with equal number of participants. The emphasis was on how to handle conflicts in meetings, dominant people in meetings and how motions and agenda are handled and discussed.
Speaking at the opening ceremony the president of the Gambia Cricket Association Johnny Gomez thanked the participants for their presence and urged them to take the course seriously, adding that it had been designed to empower them to be effective administrators at their clubs.
The course instructor was Mr Wilfred Riley who was assisted by Mbye Dumbuya, Peter Campbell, Prince Johnson, Ismaila Tamba and Andrew Jarju who are training to be CAP presenters.
