The Gambia Football Federation (GFF) in its quest to support football development in all spheres, yesterday handed over a motorbike and balls to the Deaf Scorpions through The Gambia Deaf Football Association at a brief ceremony held at Football House in Kanifing.
In his remarks, the President of the GFF, Mr. Lamin Kaba Bajo commended the Association for organising football tournaments locally and also participating in international football competitions under the name of The Gambia. Mr. Bajo said the purpose of the motorbike is to facilitate the movement of the Association. He promised to continue giving support to the Deaf Scorpions.
The President of The Gambia Deaf Football Association, Mr. Lamin D. Ceesay received the items on behalf of his Association. Speaking through an interpreter, Mr. Ceesay praised the GFF for what he described as a laudable initiative, describing the donated items as timely.
