The Gambia Football Federation will conduct a one-day rehearsal on the FIFA Live Your Goals Girls festival today Wednesday 19th July at Bulock, Foni.
The day’s event is a prelude to the final and last girls festival, which will cap off the four- year legacy program funded by FIFA to bring women’s football to the fore by encouraging girls to take part and stay in the game.
The pre-festival will attract school going kids from the Foni area on technical instructions to be supervised by FIFA Live Your Goals Ambassadors and coordinated by the Women’s Football Coordinator Sainey Sissohore.
The final episode of the LYG will be held in the Central River Region before the end of the year and will close down the chapter for the four-year legacy program benefited by the GFF to empower women and girls to play football.
The first two editions of the FIFA Live Your Goals festival were held in the Greater Banjul Area while the 3rd and fourth were thrown to the regions, Farafenni (NBR) and Soma (LRR) respectively.
