Commenting on the deal, club president William Abraham said: “Jallow’s contribution to Real was absolutely outstanding. He was a major part of the club’s success during this time creating many goals from the midfield.”
Abraham further described Jallow as an intelligent player who always shows formidable fighting spirit. “We thank him for his contribution and wish him well in China and the future,” he said. Jallow who assisted The Gambia U-20 side’s only goal in the 1-0 win over Liberia last April in the ill-fated African qualifiers, told the club website from his base in Zhejiang that: “There comes a day when you realise that turning the page is the best feeling in the world. Life is a journey and everyone’s dream is to move to higher level. I have been dreaming of this day all my life but I must say I am having mixed emotions as I am very sad that I am leaving the team where I started everything in my football career”.
