Al-Shamal Sports Club in Qatar have signed Gambian volleyball attacker Pa Ali Njie for an undisclosed fee from October 2017 to May 2018 subjected to renewal.
The club confirmed this with the Gambia Volleyball Federation last week and the 18 year old Gambian international will be with the Al Shamal base club until May 2018 and the club is playing in the first division of Qatar volleyball circle.
The International Volleyball Federation and the Qatar Volleyball Federation all approved the transfer of Njie after endorsement from Gambia Volleyball Federation and the International Transfer Certificate was signed by all parties paving the way for the 18th year old Gambian to become a professional.
Before leaving for Qatar Njie represent Gambia at the 2015 Zone II beach volleyball Olympic qualifiers and won silver.
Al-Shamal SC is a Qatari multi-sports club based in Madinat ash Shamal. Al-Shamal were founded in 1980.
