A 43-year-old woman, who is a known diabetic on regular medication and had an amputation 3 years ago as a result of wet gangrene of the right foot in Edward Francis Small Teaching Hospital, is seeking financial support to Morocco.
The woman had secured a hospital to replace her amputated leg with an artificial prosthesis.
According to her medical report ,she was using locally made prosthesis which is reported to be discomforting as she tries to walk. The hospital is reportedly asking for $200, 000 advance payment.
“I want to call on the government and any philanthropist who can to come to my aid and support this life changing adventure,” she said. The woman said she is experiencing a lot of pain when walking with the current prosthesis fixed on her leg. She can be reached on: 7044007.
