Africa Aid International presents kits to four academies

Africa Aid International, on Friday donated football kits to four football academies in Bakau.

The items included 15 sets of jersey, 100 balls, 75 pairs of boots, 300 corns, markers, and bips, 200 shirts, 100 shorts among other things.

The beneficiary academies are Door Doorat, Kachikally, Sam Tom and Jal Bak.
Bakau Komani Football club too got some of the items.

The charity started in 2017 in The Gambia.

Its partners in America Abdou Dibba who is also the president.

One Lamin Colley who is in the UK is the vice president .

The project coordinator Lamin Jammeh thanked the donors overseas who have been sending football materials, school items and other stuff for the people in the Gambia.

Mr Jammeh stated that their focus in this charity is to see that Gambian football is back to where it belongs, adding that grassroots football is important for development
He further stated that they have 150 players in all the four football academies within the range Under 9 to under 17 and the senior team which is Bakau Komani FC.
