Celebrations rocked Brikama since last night after the town’s footballers lifted the national league title in grand style. The beat Armed Forces 2-1 to finish top of the table, bringing back glory days very much missed in the town.
At the sound of the final whistle last night wild celebrations started both in Bakau and Brikama where spontaneous crowds rushed to join thousands more at the Box bar and other places to celebrate the victory.
