The Gambia Para-Sitting national volleyball team has arrived in Saudi Arabia to take part in the first edition of Saudi International Meeting for Disabilities Sports.
The event will take place in Jeddah in the coming days. On arrival the team was received by Sheikh Omar Tijan Faye The Gambia’ consul general to Jeddah and his staff. Mr Faye, a legendary athlete himself expressed great delight in receiving the team and wished them well in the tourney. The consul and his staff took the team to his residence where they were given a special treatment and words inspiration.
