The Gambia have place one foot in the group stage of the African Nations Cup, after pulling a draw against Djibouti last night.

The host took an early lead in the second half through an own goal.

The Gambians could not live with an own goal to their story and were rewarded with an equalizer after a stunning performance half way into the second half through Buba Sanneh.

With an away goal in their bag, The Scorpions will fly out to way-lay the Djiboutians on Sunday when the return leg will be played at The Stadium.

The Gambia is now well poised to take full advantage by scoring at least once and prevent the visitors from doing so.

And the fans, encouraged by last night’s draw will be on hand to push the boys to victory.
