Gambian elected into Islamic games’ athlete commission

Yassin Jaal Mboob of The Gambia has been elected into Islamic Solidarity Sports Association – ISSA Athlete Commision.

At an election yesterday in Riyadh the venue for this year’s Islamic Games, Yassin secured 15 votes, finishing 4th out of the 15 candidates that contested the elections.It is the first time Gambia is represented at this level in the body.
