The President of Gambia National Olympic Committee Alagie Dodou Capi Joof could not hold his tears on Monday as he received African 200m champion Gina Bass and team at his home.
Gina was joined by the champions of men’s African Beach volleyball who were also crowned at the just ended African Games just in Morocco.
Joof who is also the President of the Gambia Athletics Association GAA broke into tears of joy as the team presented the gold and silver medals at his residence. ‘A history that we all shared and bout which I am very proud of,”Joof said.
